Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has said that while she finds it "hard work" to remain faithful to one partner, and that she believes "that human beings aren't instinctively monogamous," she is not promiscuous.
In an interview with Glamour magazine, Johansson stated: "I went through periods of time when I was single. But when I'm in a relationship, I'm in a relationship. .... But I do believe that human beings aren't instinctively monogamous."
She added that "But as much as I believe that, I work really hard when I'm in a relationship to make it work in a monogamous way." Johansson's views on sex first made headlines when she stated she got tested for HIV every six months.
