19 April 2007 (WENN) Hollywood actor Eric Bana is to star alongside Rachel McAdams in the film adaptation of the best selling novel The Time Traveler's Wife. Bana will play the lead role in the movie, which tells the story of a time traveling librarian who falls in love. It was initially rumored that Brad Pitt was up for the role, but Bana, who has impressed in films Troy and Munich, has won the coveted part. McAdams was last seen onscreen in 2005 in three films: Red Eye, Wedding Crashers and The Family Stone.
